EPA: approved since 2004 for routine treatment of drinking water (also for swimming pools, food industry, industrial, and emergency public applications).
WHO (World Health Organization) – recommended for use as easy to use source of chlorine.
NSF International (third party) USA follows its recommendations / authorizations): authorized for use in drinking water disinfection (30mg/L max use).
Israeli Ministry of Health – Approved for drinking water Disinfection
